View the SHC 2014 Year In Review
Expansion. Adaptation. Innovation.
These words, in many ways, defined 2014 for Signature HealthCARE. The Revolution brought our total number of locations to 125. We welcomed new centers to the family and took pivotal steps to position SHC as an integrated care network capable of meeting health care needs across the full spectrum of care. We expanded into new business lines while continuing to enhance and invest in existing service offerings.
On Dec. 8, our department managers joined forces to provide a home-cooked Christmas Dinner and door prizes for all of our amazing stakeholders (staff members).
This has been a tough year, with some of our team having suffered personal tragedy – and when one of our staff suffer, we all suffer. Our love and support of one another makes us unique and so very blessed.
This special event was a time that we could come together to put aside our problems and worries, to just bask in the love of each other and celebrate the magical love and true meaning of the season. God’s grace has brought us through the tough times and it is only through him that we are Signature HealthCARE of Rogersville – a “family” in every sense of the word.
Signature HealthCARE of Rogersville has recently taken several steps to ensure residents at the local nursing home remain safe and secure in the event of an emergency or catastrophic situation.
For starters, several facility staff members have become certified through the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA. Central Supply Clerk and Safety Officer Kay Ferrell, Human Resources Director Tammy Davis and Plant Operations Director Terry Clingan have each been certified in FEMA by completing courses covering ‘Incident Command System’ and ‘National Incident Management System.’
On October 28th, we attended the Southern Regional Masquerade Ball! Elders from Rogersville traveled to the Southern Ball, which was held in Harriman. We ate an incredible meal, danced, listened to awesome music, and played a game that our elders love—BINGO!
Elder Gladys said, “I loved getting the opportunity to dress up and go somewhere.”
This Veterans Day, Signature HealthCARE would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our nation’s military veterans, and those still actively serving. We especially want to thank all of our residents and stakeholders who served our country.
Happy Veterans Day from the Signature family to yours.

As a festival winner, the facility will receive funds towards a vacation for a group of its residents. This is also the fourth consecutive year Signature has taken an annual resident vacation.
